Fylde Borough Council has supplied us with the following information –
As Christmas Day falls on a Sunday and Boxing Day is on a Monday this year, there are changes to the refuse and recycling collection schedules as follows: –
Monday 26 December 2022 – Collecting on Tuesday 27 December 2022
Tuesday 27 December 2022 – Collecting on Wednesday 28 December 2022
Wednesday 28 December 2022 – Collecting on Thursday 29 December 2022
Thursday 29 December 2022 – Collecting on Friday 30 December 2022
Friday 30 December 2022 – Collecting on Saturday 31 December 2022
The green wheeled bin collections will be suspended over the Christmas period between Monday 19 December and Saturday 31 December 2022. The green bin/garden waste service will resume from Monday 2 January 2023.
Fylde Borough Council is again working with Trinity Hospice to offer doorstep collections of real Christmas trees. The collections will take place on Saturday 14 January and Sunday 15 January 2023. Residents will be able to book a tree collection online and pledge a charitable donation to Trinity Hospice for their doorstep tree collection. The bookings site will be accessible on the Trinity Hospice website soon and available up to early January.
