On 28 January 2016, 24 local people, including all members of the Parish Council, attended a first-aid course and instructions on the defibrillator, led by Peter Bond of the Red Cross. The Parish Council would like to thank Peter for this excellent and informative course, which was very much appreciated.
The Defibrillator for Singleton is located at the Village Hall and has been purchased from funding provided by Singleton Village Hall, Singleton History Group, United Utilities and the Parish Council. The Parish Council is very grateful for the help in acquiring this and would like to thank everyone for their excellent support.
