Visit by Police Inspector Ogle to Parish Council meeting on 9 May 2013

Inspector Ogle attended the meeting of the Parish Council to discuss the recent published crime figures for the Singleton area.  He assured the Parish Council that there had not been an increase in crime figures in Singleton and that most crimes are committed by criminals travelling through the area.  More and more of these people are being stopped by the Police and, as a result, there has been a 8% decrease in crime figures across Fylde this year.  The message he wanted to get over to our residents loud and clear, however, was that these criminals are opportunists and people should learn to always lock their cars, sheds, garages etc., to avoid being targetted by these criminals.
