The Parish Council would like to pass on its congratulations to St. Anne’s Parish Church, Singleton, on receiving a most prestigious award by the Diocese of Blackburn for being a child-friendly church. Very few of these awards have been received within Lancashire. The award was for the Sunday School and the work done to make children part of the Church in the family service. The numbers now attending Sunday School are in the 20’s. Very well done to all concerned.
