Residents please note that there is a proposed temporary road closure on Lodge Lane, Singleton on 02.05.23 until 26.06.23 to enable realignment of the carriageway over the new bridge to be carried out by National Highways in connection with the A585 Windy Harbour project.
Lancashire County Council has issued a Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2023 that:-
No person shall cause any motor vehicle to proceed over that length of Lodge Lane, Singleton from the property “Larkfield” to the junction with Barnfield Manor.
This prohibition will be operative from 0700 hours on Tuesday 2nd May 2023 until 1800 hours on 26th June 2023 or until completion of the works within this period.
An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via: –
Garstang New Road – Larbreck Road – Mile Road – The Village and vice versa
