New Parish Councillor for Singleton

New Parish Councillor for Singleton

Following the retirement of Cllr Clive Barnden, notices advertising a vacancy on Singleton Parish Council were displayed on the parish noticeboards for a period of 3 weeks.  During that time no resident came forward requesting an election and therefore at the meeting of Singleton Parish Council on 23rd August 2012, Matthew Lee of The Old Vicarage, Lodge Lane, Singleton agreed to be co-opted on to the Council.  The Parish Council welcomes Matthew Lee who is very enthusiastic to serve Singleton well.  At the same time the Parish Council would like to thank Clive Barnden for all his work over the years, and wishes him all the very best for the future.
